My question:
Like a baseball player playing and getting experience in the minor leagues, I feel after 4 years I’ve learned a tremendous amount about the tour industry and my passengers. I’ve gotten that DC and NYC license, I’ve had the occasional trip overseas. Â I want to know how to move forward from here. Â How do I land that job with the high end company taking trips to Africa, Europe and Asia? Â Is it better to have a resume with multiple tour companies or just a few that you have dedicated yourself to? Â What do the high end companies look for?
I’d like to hear and participate in workshops geared for the more seasoned tour director looking to advance their career.
