Dear ITMI Group,
here I am after few years,you probably don’t remember me with all the members that you have, however I am Tadej Peric from Slovenia (ITMI Class 2002) .
I was the only european at that course and I had a great time with all of you in San Francisco.
I just wanted to let you know that I still work in toursim and I can say that I am doing »bloody good«
After ITMI …..have worked for an italian Tour Operator »I Viaggi del Ventaglio« and I have worked as well as a PR and Event Planner in different hotels at the Slovenian Coast and than I decided to travel a bit more.
It has been my 3rd year with Scenic Tours(Australian Tour Operator- they are as well successful in Canada,Europe,…) ,I work as a Cruise Manager on their ships.
The owner of Scenic Tours decided tob build 4 rivercruise ships to Sail on European Waterways.
They are the most beautiful ships on the rivers and I have an amazing job with Scenic Tours/Cruises.
I am responsible for the program onboard,dealing with local agents,organising local guides and buses,organising entertainment,guest relation,lots of problem solving with 160 guests onboard … … »providing the ultimate touring experience” this is the motto of Scenic Tours…etc
I could write forever about my job and maybe I will if you are interested .
The rivercruise I am on starts in Amsterdam(Netherlands) and ends in Budapest(Hungary)or Viceversa,- sailing on the European waterways(such as the Rhein,Main,Danube River), passing through different countries with different cultures,languages and traditions is just an incredible experience.
